General Terms and Conditions (as of 01.12.2024)

for event services offered through the website www.intdinnerljubljana.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

1. Scope

1.1 Application of the Terms & Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions govern all contractual relationships between the operator of the Website (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") and the customers of the Website in connection with the booking, participation in, and provision of events (dinner events, hereinafter referred to as "Events") offered via the Website operated by the Provider.

1.2 Exclusive Application
Any terms and conditions proposed by the customer that deviate from these General Terms and Conditions will not be recognized unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the Provider.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Booking Process
Bookings are made via the interface on our Website. Customers can book tickets through a guest checkout process without the need of a user account. Booking a place at the Event is possible from 7 days in advance and up to 2 hours prior to Event start. A ticket is successfully booked upon successful processing of the customer’s ticket fee payment through our Website’s payment interface.

2.2 Payment Methods
Provider’s accepted payment methods include PayPal and Stripe. These payment platforms allow customers to use various credit or debit cards and other secure online payment options. No additional fees beyond the ticket price are charged.

3. Ticketing and Confirmation

3.1 Confirmation Email (the Event ticket)
Upon a successful booking, the customer receives a confirmation email (including Event date and starting time, price and customer information). This email serves as the Event ticket which needs to be presented to the Event host (person heading the Event) at the Event start. One ticket corresponds to one reserved spot (for one person) at the Event. The customer is responsible for ensuring they receive the confirmation email and for contacting us if they do not receive it.

3.2 Ticket transfer/resell
Tickets are not allowed to be transferred or resold. The Event attendee’s personal information (personal ID) needs to match the guest information from the ticket booking – a non-match can result in denial of entry to the Event without entitlement to any refund.

4. Event location (The Meetup Place)

Event locations do not necessarily repeat. Upon a successful booking, the customer will receive the information of the Event location (meeting point) approx. 2 hours prior to the Event start in a separate email to the confirmation email. All Event locations are within or in close vicinity to central Ljubljana. In case of unforeseen circumstances, the Provider reserves the right to change the Event location up to 1 hour prior to Event start (please see paragraph 6.3. for more info).

5. Customer Cancellation and Refund policy

Once a booking is confirmed, customers cannot cancel their booking or request a refund. All ticket sales are final; no cancellations will be accepted and no therewith related refunds will be issued. Refunds are only provided in the circumstance that the Provider cancels an Event (see more in paragraph 6.3 and section 7).

6. Event Details

6.1 Event Speci fications

  • The Event consists of a joint dinner in a restaurant and an after-dinner gathering in a pub/bar.

  • Exact starting location of the Event is communicated to the customers via email after the purchase of the Event ticket (approx. 2 hours before Event start).

  • Event host welcomes the attendees in the restaurant, oversees the dinner part of the Event (approx. 1,5 hours) and escorts the participants to the after-dinner venue.

  • Event and Event host’s role end after attendees gather at the second venue.

  • Event timings, restaurant info and other useful Event information is available in its latest version on the Website.

6.2 Event rules / requirements

  • The event is restricted to individuals aged 18 and over.

  • Valid photo ID is required and may be reviewed by the Event host.

  • A valid ticket (the confirmation email) needs to be presented to the Event host.

  • A restaurant-appropriate dress code is required

  • Appropriate and respectful behavior of participants is required.

  • Event participants are required to follow Event Host’s guidance.

Not complying with above points can lead to dismissal from the Event without any ticket refund.

6.3 Changes in Venue and Time
The Provider reserves the right to change the venue or timing of the Event in case of unforeseen circumstances. In such case, the provider will communicate (via email) an alternative solution to the customers, while considering the following:

  • customers shall be informed at least 1 hour prior to Event start (via email)

  • Event starting location remains central Ljubljana (or close vicinity),

  • Event delay can be up to 45min (versus originally planned starting time).

In case an alternative solution cannot be provided within these conditions, the Provider reserves the right to cancel the Event upon which the customers will be informed of this decision via email. Ticket fees will be fully refunded to customers.

7. Liability and Disclaimers

7.2 Customer Responsibility and Indemnification
The customer (Event attendee) is responsible for any damages or losses caused by their actions during the Event. The customer agrees to indemnify the Provider against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from their misconduct, breach of these General Terms and Conditions, or failure to comply with the Event guidelines or Event Host’s lead of the Event.

7.3 Event Scope
An Event consists of a dinner part in a designated restaurant (approx. 1,5 hours duration) and of a walk to and gathering at the after-dinner venue (pub/bar). Both overseen by the Event host. The Event and any Event related services end with the gathering of the ticket holding attendees at the second venue.

7.4 Event Host Role / Responsibility
Event host responsibility includes checking Event attendees’ tickets, organizing dinner seating, overlooking the dinner part of the Event, escorting the attendees to the second venue (pub/bar) and maintaining a generally positive development of the Event within the foreseen structure. The Event host holds no further roles or responsibilities. Event host’s role and responsibilities end with the gathering of the ticket holding guests in the second venue.

7.5 Event Changes, Cancellation and Force Majeure
The Provider is not liable for changes in Event venue or timing caused by force majeure and unforeseeable events (e.g. circumstances such as sudden illness of Event host or unforeseen unavailability of a venue). In such case, the customer shall be informed via email of the substitute solution or the cancellation (please see further information in paragraph 6.3.). In case of cancellation, ticket fee will be refunded to the customers in full. Provider holds no further liability beyond the ticket refund.

7.6 Minimal attendees requirement
The provider reserves the right to cancel an Event in case of less than 3 bookings. In such situation, the customer will be informed of the cancellation approx. 2 hours prior to Event start via email and ticket fees will be refunded in full. The Provider holds no further liability beyond the ticket refund.

7.7 Late arrivals & no-shows
The Provider is not responsible for making any alterations or interruptions in the Event process in case of a late arrival of a participant (customer). Late arrivals and no-shows do not receive any refund of the ticket fee.

7.8 Non-Compliance with Event schedule and organization
Event attendees are required to follow the official Event timings (as stated in confirmation email or in any further emails from the Provider or Event host) and Event host’s live organization of the Event. Failure to do so does not give the Event host or the Provider any responsibility to alter or interrupt the foreseen process of the Event. In case customer non-compliance results in disturbance of the Event, the provider reserves the right to dismiss such customer from the Event without a refund.

7.9 Non-Compliance with Event requirements/guidelines
Event attendees are required to follow Event rules and requirements (see parag. 5.2). The Provider reserves the right to dismiss any non-compliant participant from the Event without any ticket refund.

7.10 Attendee identification and ticket
Event attendee (a customer) must hold a photo ID and match the personal information from the booking. In case of no appropriate personal identification, no access to ticket, as well as in case of personal details not matching the booking information, the Provider reserves the right to deny such person entry to the Event without any ticket refund.

7.11 Limitation of Liability
Apart from cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Provider, The Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the Event ticket (the ticket fee). This limitation applies to all claims, including but not limited to contractual, statutory, or tort claims, provided that such limitation is legally permissible.
